AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS
Summer Camps Wrap Up
PTMSC Coastal Explorers Summer Camp takes a trip to visit the Whale on the Wharf in Downtown Port Townsend.
The Port Townsend Marine Science Center has just wrapped up another season of camps! Over the past ten weeks, just over 150 campers have come from near and far to learn about the wonders of the Salish Sea and find their passion for conservation.
It takes a lot to pull off a season of non-stop learning. We are grateful for the help from community partnerships (Northwind Art, Sail Port Townsend, the Northwest Maritime Center, and Sno-Isle YMCA), dedicated staff, AmeriCorps, and camp counselors.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Member Appreciation Event! It was a wonderful evening of connection, laughter, games, and celebration. We’re so grateful for our incredible members and the community that makes PTMSC possible. Your support helps us continue empowering conservation for a thriving Salish Sea!
